Cleaning these RF lenses PITA

Cleaning these RF lenses PITA

So my start gripe is getting my protection filter on requires me to drop it inside the hood and then identify the hood on since you tin't just put the hood on then filter.

Also seems like no matter how hard I try to get every spec of dust off it never fails i ever run into something in one case it'due south dorsum together. Lol.  I'm holding it upwards under my LED low-cal and besides changing the temp of my light as some temps show dust more than others.

am I fighting a loosing battle?

I never clean my lenses. Can't see any difference. Some grit on the lens won't be visible in your photos at all.

I don't know which RF lens y'all're talking well-nigh, simply mounting and removing filters with the hood on was never particularly easy with EF lenses either. Telephoto lenses are worse but considering the hoods are narrower and deeper.

As well seems similar no thing how difficult I try to get every spec of dust off information technology never fails i always encounter something once it's back together. Lol. I'thou holding it up under my LED light and also changing the temp of my lite as some temps show dust more than others.

LensRentals did an fascinating article on this a few years ago. The conclusion was that the dust needs to exist clumsily big before it starts to present a problem. (warning: the link features a macro image of a problems!) So merely ignore those dust specks; they're harmless.

You're losing a battle that didn't even need to be fought in the first place!
